Lens and Fiber Optic Bundle Connection
Carefully connect the lens and fiber optic bundle, ensuring the end of the fiber optic bundle is accurately aligned with the lens's receiving end. This step requires extreme care as the fiber optic bundle is very fragile and easily damaged. Use a specialized connection tool or clamp to secure the connection, ensuring a firm and airtight seal.
Insertion Tube Assembly
Insert the connected lens and fiber optic bundle into the insertion tube. The insertion tube is typically made of soft, medical-grade material to protect internal components from external damage. During insertion, ensure the fiber optic bundle and lens are not squeezed or twisted to avoid affecting image quality.
Operating Unit Installation
The operating unit is the control center of the endoscope, containing various buttons, knobs, and joysticks. Connect the operating unit to the insertion tube, ensuring all control elements are functioning correctly. This step may require the use of a screwdriver or other tools to secure the connection.
