1. Equipment Overview
This set of tools is tailor-made to carry out surface refurbishment work on the metal housings, protective sheaths and connectors belonging to rigid endoscopes. It is engineered to fix common defects picked up throughout clinical service cycles, including surface scratches, indentations from knocks, weld marks on connecting joints and corrosion buildup. Equipped with full supporting accessories, it supports the whole workflow from coarse material trimming all the way through to preliminary mirror finishing.
2. Electric Bur Set (Grinding Consumables)
Compatible with shank diameters from 3 mm to 6 mm. Four specially contoured burs are configured to fit the geometric structure of different endoscopic components:
- flat-tip bur: For rust removal and large-area flatness rectification on sheath end faces and flat metal sections.
- Bullet-shaped bur: For dead-angle grinding of endoscopic articulations and tapered transition areas, as well as reworking recessed areas at welding joints.
- disc shaped bur: For preliminary polishing of curved metal surfaces and efficient elimination of oxide layers.
- T-shaped bur: For edge chamfering of stepped surfaces and fast removal of sharp burrs.
Material & Process Superiorities of Burs：
We adopt premium high-temperature resistant adhesive to firmly bond burs together with metal shanks. The bonded structure will not come loose even under high-speed friction-induced heat, which safeguards endoscopic components as well as the personal safety of operators.
- Rubber bur: Manufactured from high-performance customized synthetic rubber with uniformly embedded abrasive grains. Flexible grinding without damaging base substrates, perfectly suitable for precision finishing of thin-walled endoscopic tubes.
- Grinding wheel bur: Made of high-quality fused alumina featuring high hardness and outstanding wear resistance. Designed for machining hard alloy coatings and stubborn welding scars, resistant to abrasion and chipping under high rotating speeds.
3.Main Unit of the Electric Grinder
- Dual wired & rechargeable power supply: Standard Type-C port, rechargeable via power banks or directly connected to power adapters. Cable-free operation adapts to various complicated maintenance environments.
- Variable speed adjustment: Rotation speed can be tuned in real time according to material hardness (stainless steel, titanium alloy etc.) to prevent thermal damage to lens sealing adhesive.
- Quick-change chuck: Supports fast bur replacement to improve overall efficiency for multi-step repair workflows.
- Extended battery life: High-capacity lithium battery pack enables continuous grinding and polishing operations for multiple rigid endoscopes per single full charge.
